BLWL marks the Year of Natural Scotland 2013 and is a collaboration with Creative Scotland, Forestry Commission Scotland, Central Scotland Green Network and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation, who have funded this project.
BLWL teamed artists with planning professionals to reflect and develop a new language, understanding and tools to capture public knowledge and so enable a wider discussion on what is important to people in everyday life in relation to Scotland’s natural resources.
The six BLWL projects are:
|Renewable Energy and the Natural Landscape||Loch Lomond and the Trossachs||Drawing|
|East Coast – Biodiversity and Coastal Challenges||Tayside and Grampian||Sculpture|
|West Coast – Biodiversity and Coastal Challenges||South Highland||Visual Art|
|Sir Patrick Geddes||Edinburgh||Writing/Word Mapping|
